Eagle Scout Project Burlingame, CA Troop 28

Jun 2019 - Aug 2020

Render of the rabbit hutch CAD. CAD was done in Solidworks and features modular parts, which allowed me to make them off site and assemble everything quickly on site. More pictures and descriptions are avaliable in "Documents and Photos."

Rabbit hutch modules being assembled off site. Since many of the modules were the same, it was easy to instruct other people and create an assembly line.

Rabbit hutch modules being loaded into a vehicle for transport to the installation site. Since everything was modular, it all stacked really nicely into the back of the SUV.

Full side panels being assembled on site. Everything had already been cut offsite, so assembly on site was really fast, and only consisted of drilling and screwing things together.

Final assembly being placed in the installation site. Everything came together in roughly 30 minutes.

Strength testing the floor panels.

The bottom ramps being installed. These are for collecting the urine and feces from the rabbits to use in fertilizer. (this was done on a different day).

Completed project.
