Driveteam and Leadership

During the 2019-2021 FIRST Robotics Competition seasons, I was a member of the drive team as the primary driver. Being on drive team means that I work closely with other members such as the secondary driver, drive coach, and human player in order to make quick real-time deicisions in the heat of a match. Since FRC is a 3 team vs 3 team game, we also had to communicate and coordinate with 2 other FRC teams. Being a driver gave me to opportunity to exercise my teamwork, communication, and networking skills.

During the 2019 Houston World Championship, these communication and networking skills helped our team be picked by the first seed alliance, and our ability to work well with other teams enabled our alliance to win our division and the entire competition.
